Dewan direksi Yahoo dikabarkan bakal menolak pinangan US$ 44,6 miliar yang diajukan Microsoft. Akal-akalan Yahoo untuk mengatrol harga saham?

Harian The Wall Street Journal melansir bahwa keputusan yang diambil manajemen Yahoo tak lain demi menyelamatkan reputasi portal internet raksasa tersebut dari keterpurukan.

Disebutkan pula, tawaran US$ 31 per lembar saham yang diajukan Microsoft tak sebanding dengan risiko yang bakal didapat jika Yahoo akhirnya menerima pinangan. Sebab, besar kemungkinan transformasi antara dua raksasa itu tak akan mendapat restu dari regulator setempat.

"Dewan direksi Yahoo merasa Microsoft cuma mencari keuntungan dengan mencuri kesempatan di saat nilai saham perusahaannya tengah melemah," sebut sumber yang dipercaya harian bursa itu, seperti dilansir AFP, Minggu (10/2/2008).

Sementara, laporan The Associated Press menyertakan asumsi beragam analis keuangan, bahwa penolakan yang akan diumumkan resmi oleh Yahoo pada hari Senin waktu setempat, hanyalah akal-akalan semata demi mengatrol harga sahamnya yang tengah anjlok.

Microsoft bahkan dikabarkan bakal meningkatkan penawaran nilai saham yang diajukan menjadi US$ 35 per lembar. Alternatif lainnya, raksasa software itu tetap bisa membeli saham senilai US$ 31 per lembar langsung dari para pemegang sahamnya.

Cek URL Situs

Cek selalu URL situs bank Anda. Para penjahat cyber biasanya memikat korban untuk memasukan username dan password ke situs palsu yang menyerupai situs resmi bank Anda. Jika Anda melihat suatu hal yang aneh, selain dari situs resmi bank Anda, bisa jadi situs tersebut palsu.

Jangan pernah memasukkan username atau password dan data sensitif lainnya tanpa terlebih dahulu memastikan bahwa Anda berada di situs yang benar. Satu lagi yang paling penting, usahakan selalu mengetik alamat situs bank Anda langsung pada browser, jangan pernah mengklik link yang ada dalam e-mail.

Update Sistem

Umumnya terdapat panel 'last logged in' di situs bank. Cek panel tersebut setiap kali Anda login.
